At Westminster Printing we consider all factors with your print project such as budget, quality, functionality & deadline. Our offset printing presses are capable of printing up to 6 colours at a time on a range of different stocks from recycled environmentally friendly, waterproof / non tear synthetic, adhesive, uncoated, coated silk/ satin or gloss stocks. Most people choose offset printing because of the quality of the print and the ease in printing large quantities.
If you want a quick turn around job at a great price consider our digital printing option. We can produce most small run jobs on a variety of stocks. A digital press cannot print Pantone inks so a CMYK simulated equivalent is produced. As a result most Pantone colours in it’s CMYK equivalent can produce a finish that you can be proud of. Things to consider when choosing digital printing are small print quantities, keep live text at least 2.5mm within the designated trim.
Celloglaze is a plastic film heat bonded to printed products such as booklet covers or business cards. This process is applied to the whole printed surface and can be either Gloss or Matt single or double sided. Gloss Celloglazing has a high quality gloss overall finish and is particularly suited to magazine or book covers but can be applied to any print project that requires a highly reflective surface. Gloss Cello is great for making your print project stand out from the pack.
Embossing is the creation of a three-dimensional design or image on paper. Heat and pressure reshapes the surface of the paper to create the image. Single, multi-level, beveled, and sculptured are the styles of embossing. Embossing can be done on plain paper or combined with ink, images, or foil for special effects.
Die cutting is a process used to cut paper into a specific shape using a steel cutting die. It can be used to punch out a decorative shape or functional pattern, or it can be used to create the main shape of an object by cutting the entire sheet of paper in a distinctly designed way. Die cutting can produce unique results and can add a decorative element or a functional component to your design. There are many possibilities for die-cutting although this medium has it’s limitations.
Spot UV (Ultra Violet) Varnishing is a printing process used to enhance many kinds of print jobs giving the particular element of the design a high gloss finish.
